To mark a monumental half-century in the "progosphere," the legendary Brazilian trio Azymuth returns with Marca Passo—an album that serves as both a milestone and a moving tribute to founding drummer Ivan "Mamão" Conti, who passed away in 2023.

Now led by bassist Alex Malheiros—the group's sole surviving original member—the "three-man orchestra" welcomes new drummer Renato Massa alongside longtime keyboardist Kiko Continentino. Together, they dive deeper into the band’s iconic "Samba Doido" sound, weaving a rich tapestry of samba-jazz, cosmic funk, and the warm, analog textures of 1970s MPB.
